    My site is 8th position on Google for keywords "NC GOLF" but i know that it's way better than any site listed above, plus have more traffic than those sites too.. Why isn't google putting me at the top of the list? is the because i don't have enough Keyword Optimized?

    How do you 'know' you are getting more traffic?
    What do you mean by 'i know that it's way better than any site listed above'? Do you mean, you think it is awesome so it should be number 1? Just because a site is better designed, doesn't mean that it will be #1.

    Are you http://www.homeofgolf.com/? If so, you have a very nice design.
    The ones who are above you have NC Golf in the URL. That is a big plus.

    Do you have sites linking to yours? Is your site relatively new? Do you use headings and page titles correctly? There are so many factors contributing to your page rank.

    Your h1 has too much text in my opnion... "NC Golfers A Online North Carolina Golf Community. Help bring our golfing community to life and Sign Up Today!" is just too long.

    Also, don't watch your rankings daily, check only once a week, and check different data centers.

    Hmmm, so i should shorten that h1 tag...
    mysites a year old.
    yes i have many site linking to mine.
    my pr is 4.

    I just get frustrated because u don't see a difference right away with changes, and then when you do, you can't be certain what you did right ;)

    Hi Wayne!

    First able. Did you code this website?
    This is classic example how not to use CSS.
    There are too many DIVS used in design it's just the same as using tables why even bother then using CSS.
    As far as you position in Google unless you paying them your position will move up and down in search result so don't expect to get on a first or second place easily. Every two weeks or so Google adds new website to the search index this my effect pushing your website down in search list result. Remember Google doesn't know or care how much traffic you got what they really care it's how important the content on your website and how often it gets updates.
