    Should one pay attentions to these? It would have been better if they went up the tree and compared foreground and background colours for legebility instead of this.

    I would only worry about this if a site has different background colors throughout the site... where you have overlaps etc.

    but on a site that has the same background color accross the whole site, doesn't do much, just adds extra lines.

    I do like your idea, that would make life much easier.

    I get these all the time, but mostly I specaly need it not to have a background-color, if I'm using a background-image. I think it's really pointless.
