    Hello Everyone! :-)

I am looking for an easy picture gallery. I have pictures I would like to share - and what better place to put it - the internet. i am looking for a simple script, or flash. Particularly one that will be easy to use when I need to upload pictures on a regular basis. If anyone could suggest some, that would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you everyone!

I have made a gallery by using PHP, XML and Flash where you just put a .swf and .php file into a folder and then whenever a user views the gallery, it reads through the contents of the whole folder and then you can dynamically load what's inside. It doesn't only open pictures, it also parses mp3 files, wav files and swf files. So to upload to the gallery you just have to drop files into the folder via a ftp client or something and they're there. Here's the gallery in action http://blippo.addr.com/viewer
Let me know if you need it.

SlideShowPro is a Flash photo gallery component that can display photos on your server and from your Flickr RSS feed

SlideShowPro is well worth the cost, and you can also get an admin interface to make adding photos a piece of cake.

    I still strongly endorse this:

And you don't need to know any XML, Flash or PHP to set it up.

Depending on your needs, IstockPhoto actually has a lot of XML driven flash apps for download.

Here are a few of their Photo Gallery ones

I highly recommend SlideShowPro, but the istock downloads are very artistic and might prove better suited for your needs -- depending on the context.

+1 for SlideShowPro and it's Director add-on for easy updating (very easy to customise if you have some actionscript knowledge)
+1 for ZenPhoto if you want to use CSS/HTML

I have used and endorse both Simpleviewer and SlideShowPro. SlideShow Pro's new Director add on will probably give you exactly what you want.

I prefer to work with flash. It's possible to make so wonderful photo galleries :))
Then I load they in internet. But the best projects I burn to DVD.

It's pity home theater can't play flash files. So that's why I convert swf or flv to video with "Flash to Video Encoder PRO" at geovid. I didn't find better way yet. I'm not sure that there is another way watching flash on CD or DVD. :P

Well if you find something worth let me know.

i did some of these tutorials late last year and found them easy to adapt to my needs.
it's possible to combine the flash/php tutorial with the xml photo gallery and you could even create a neat upload file write to create new galleries simply and with a few clicks!
