If someone has some idea about Typo3 - and wanting to help a poor cms newbie- I would be worshipping him like a god! These are the facts: I've manually installed Typo3 3.8.1 on localhost, and after the 1-2-3-go phase I wanted to see the backend window. Now, there I'm asked about my login data for admin and password. In this phase, these should be the ones the package come with (admin=admin and password=password). But they don't work! WHAT TO DO??? Where can I find these in the files? The frontend works.
I have to mention that PHP, MySQL, Apache are OK, (I have also Wordpress and oscommerce, and they work fine) cookies and Js are activated, databases are built, mysql access is set. I don't get any errors in my configuration, but still cannot login to admin zone.
If you're running on windows it might be an issue with how sessions are stored in PHP (I had that problem the other day when i was trying cmsmadesimple locally). I'm sure there's ways to adjust it to clean it up, but it might vary by what you're using, etc.
Aaaargh.... I think I'll leave typo3 aside for a while. Wordpress is just enough for me right no, and maybe I'll try phpwcms also. Thank you folks for your opinions.
