I’ve got a project I’m working on for a client on an international service. Whenever they write about a certain country, they’d like to have a nice simple image of that country.

Does anyone have any good resources for a library that has a nice and simple design collection of all countries? This is going to be used in print and web, so vector based is preferred. I don’t need topography, terrain, or road information – just really an outline of the country.

You can choose almost any country there i think. At the bottom you can download a PDF, which is easily imported in Illustrator. From there you can ungroup the image and get your country shape, in vector form.

    Good luck.

Make sure you go File > Open from Illustrator, and don't update the legacy text in the opening.
