I think it could use some color! Simple doesn't have to be dull. You could use some more margin above "You want it simple..." and you could deploy a better grid, lining up your heading and paragraph text.

I like the logo, though. Not so sure about the sleepy ape with the weird nipple though. Coupled with the background pattern, this design could use some direction.

    Finally, escape those amperstands!

yeah, I'm having a problem with the margin on top of the header, in mozilla it appears higher, and in ie it gets alot lower, I'm wondering if its cuz of the nav bar.
As far as "a better grid" I don't really know what you mean, if you could explain that one more it would be greatly appreciated.

Does the gorilla's elongated nipple bother anyone else?

It definitely needs one splash of color, if the "i23" logo were in color, it would be so powerful. I know your whole thing is "simple and unique", but the portfolio section needs something a little more than default black boxes -- looks more lazy than minimalist. Give me an "about" section. I want to know who you are and how long you've been doing this ... even on the internet we want a personal feel somewhere.

Your elements should fall into place on an imaginary grid, i.e. your header and paragraph text should have an equal left margin so they line-up vertically, or alternatively, there should be some logical difference in margin, like the paragraph margin is exactly double the header margin.

Thanks a lot, you guys have already given me some direction, as for the nipple, its hard to let go. Its weird I know but I kinda like the aspect of it. adding some color is sound advice and i like the idea of making the logo in color, maybe match the color of the logo with text color on hover or active states.

All I see is Gorilla boob.

And what happened to the rules? These kind of - "hey look at my website" posts are really taking over the forum again, and frankly, I'm getting tired of them.

I've been allowing some hoping they would not take over the forum again. But if the posts persist, I'll take action.

For those reading this you can find the rules here.

You should make a section called "Site Reviews".

Dear Andrew...may I call you Andrew (and all the other ego seekeers)

So you just started out with designing web sites? Congratulations. When you say that you want to make sure that your site is made "properly", you have to realize that you're being rather vague. Your initial post:
    hey, this is my site
    what do you think?
    http://www.i23.biz

leaves a lot open to interpretation. People could be compelled to comment on the aesthetics, the code, the functionality, the typography, the organization, the content, the URL, anything... Imagine please if five designers who just started out posted a similar query on this site every day? Do you think that the people who participate on this forum would get tired of commenting on every possible aspect of the various sites? Do you think people would stop participating in the forum as much if it devolved into these types of "Do you think my website is cool?" conversations? I, for one, wouldn't participate as often.

If you're looking for specific feedback on a bug, some programming, color scheme, even possible design comps, the people here will give you very helpful information. Just be more specific when you ask for input from the members here; we're all happy to help.

    wow,
I don't want this to turn into what it could turn into, so let me say that your site - http://adjustafresh.com is an example of superb coding and design.
    Have a nice day.
