Distinguished members of the board, fellow web enthusiasts, dear friends: Let me begin by expressing my admiration to this site and the community that built up around it. I am relatively new to CSS and have just finished a personal portfolio site. It relies heavily on the typographic elements like em-dashes and pilcrows that seem to work nicely in IE and Firefox on the PC. However, I am concerned that the characters might not display correctly under the various browsers on the Mac. Sadly, I have no acquaintances in the Macintosh world, and have to plea for your help. Please, if you have access to an Apple machine, take the time to see if the letterforms are rendering correctly. I am also interested in any design or code-related suggestion you might have.
