    I am looking to hire a logo designer / graphic artist for several projects. Google is only returning one-offs looking to spin pre-made logos nor actual designers. If you are a quality logo designer or graphic artist, please link me to your portfolio site or that of any quality people you may know of.

    What sort of logos/projects? I am a student at Parsons in graphic design and have several friends who are great designers and still working for student salaries (a fraction of most professional rates... its almost unethical, but not quite). But if you are looking for long term in the sense of hiring a company designer, I probably can't help.

    sitepoint has a forum where designers bid on clients work
    http://www.sitepoint.com/contests/

    They call them design contests
    One of the types of contest is logo design, there are countless talented individuals who wll take your concept, work on a design, post the design and compete with ther designs and work on it until you decide which is the best one to go with. There is some really awesome work come out of there.

    Anyone coming in here b/c they are a logo designer -- check out Wisdump. He is having a little logo brainstorm now which could be fun to take-part.
