I read or heard somewhere that the hex color #333333 doesnt show well (maybe too dark) on a black background) with either a mac or a laptop. can anybody verify this for me or is this unfounded

someone mention about somethin like this in wordpress. the #333333 colour are a based wordpress theme colour in web2 palette. can't seems anything wrong with it...maybe differ colour in differ browser...try safari or others.

actually in laptop the #333333 colour looks beautiful with light shading rather than a plain dark in desktop.. -

I wouldn't recommend that for text, but it can work for images.
