I'd like to add Segoe UI to the business site I'm working on, as I believe it will be a while before most of the business world catches up... I'm no expert, and SIFR seems intimidating. Are there any slightly more automated approaches to embedding a font in a site? I've read many a discussion on this subject, many of them posted around 2k1-2k4... It seems that the rules are different now. Any suggestions?

btw, I'm re-doing EDITED BY AUTHOR (SEO) in a CSS/slightly minimalist way. It'll be up at the end of the week.

the old embedding font approaches you're referring to are deprecated and only work in IE I think.

There's this other clever technique involving php image generation but you'll miss Flash pixel-perfect antialiasing...

no, that method works in all modern browsers

but sIFR is a better option in the end because you can add effects like fade-ins, drop shadows and other animations.

Thanks for the advice. BTW, the site's up now. Arial will have to do in the meantime. :)
