Hey guys, I am in dire need of some help here. I need to burn a a flash animation to DVD and I cannot figure out how to get the movie saved as a video file. Quicktime export forces me into using Flash 5 settings but then I lose my transition effects in AS2. Can anybody shed some light on the best way to get a Flash movie to DVD?
I have 8 Pro. My problem is that when I was exporting the movie as a "Quicktime Video" the transitions that I had defined with Action Script (2) weren't showing in the video file. After further research I found out that when you export as video, the action defined in action script is not included in the video.
Once I rebuilt the transitions as frame animations, everything worked fine. There is nothing more to see here...
I've had the same problem about a year ago. After some searching around, I found this program: http://www.adshareit.com/swf-to-video.html It can convert SWF files to avi, mpg and some other file types, and it does include action script :-)
Last time I had to do this, I ended up using a camcorder to record my laptop screen, crazy huh? (It was quite nice in the end as it added some grit and rawness to my 3d stuff though)
I used Amor SWF to VCD SVCD DVD Creator & Burner to burn swf to dvd. It is very useful for me. You can find the guide and faq of the software here. Have a try!
It is quite a popular way to watch videos on mobile devices like iPod, Zune and something else. There is some software can help us to do this work. Wanna enjoy your flash on your iPod, your Zune? Here is a software allow you to do so! Convert you Flash with ease. Tools used: Flash to Video Converter
I.Import Flash Files
Click import to import flash files that you want to convert. You can import several files in one time.
You can drag the borderline that appears on the flash to define the output area. A watermark could be applied to the output file. Check the “add watermark” box and choose a picture to be the watermark and the transparency could also be changed. You can click the next button to switch among these flash files and give them different settings.
The specification should exactly be: Video Encoder: H.264, Resolution: 320 x 240, Bit rate: up to 768 Kbps, Frame Rate: 30 FPS, Audio Encoder: AAC, Sample Rate: up to 48 KHz, Bit Rate: up to 160 Kbps, stereo audio.
IV.Convert
At last, you can start the conversion, just select the output folder and press start button, it will not be a long time to wait for completing the conversion.
