    Hello.

    I have found a tool Forum Scraper at http://www.gelembjuk.com that can be used for extracting posts from forums and inserting them into my forum. Author of this tool says that it is legal to extract posts.

    What do you think? Is it legal to scrap forums and republish posts? Can this tool realy increse search engines traffic?

    I would say its illegal, cause ur are stealing content, even if it is just a post of a forum,
    as long as the orginal person don't know / don't allow it

    I can't see how that's legal. Unless you are extracting the content for backup purposes on your own forum. Sounds fishy to me though.
