I have a client site that uses Wordpress as a CMS. It needs to use a WP Page as the index (rather than the blog). There are several plugins or techniques on the WP site to do this, but I can't seem to get them to work. It's almost there but still not quite right.

I am willing to pay someone to do whatever is needed to get this working.

WP 2.1 allows you to put the blog on an interior page and put flat content on the homepage with relative ease. Email me if you need help sorting it out. -

Create a template called home.php, and a static page with the slug of 'home', assign your home.php templated to it, and then use this plugin http://www.semiologic.com/software/static-front/

3stripe, I tried that before I posted here but apparently I set it up incorrectly. I'm thinking I will upgrade to 2.1 but I have not done that previously. Hopefully it will go forward without too many difficulties. -
