    Are you are familiar with W3C standards and compliance? Do you know who Eric
    Meyer, Molly Holzschlag and Jeremy Keith are? Would you like working within
    a relaxed yet challenging environment of standards based web design?


    1105 Media seeks a full-time Front-end Web Designer/Developer to join our web
    team in Chatsworth, CA (no relocation assistance offered for this position).
    This position will assist the Web Art Director with all aspects of front–end
    web design including: DOM scripting, coding in semantic and accessible XHTML,
    HTML newsletters, the occasional Flash banner ad, and design maintenance of
    web products.

    Position Requirements:


    Position requires both artistic and technical skills.



    • Ability to create standards based web sites using XHTML/CSS with a broad
      understanding of current web and browser-related issues.

    • Thorough knowledge of DOM scripting techniques, including object literal
      notation, as well as familiarity with the XMLHttpRequest method.

    • Introduce innovative design to increase site productivity, traffic to specific/desired
      areas, positive user experiences and business results.

    • Responsibility for project from concept to completion.

    • Possess an understanding of information architecture for the web to assist
      in developing flowcharts and style guides during initial planning phases of
      new websites.


    Working environment is Macintosh OS X with testing on Virtual PC.



    • Expert experience working with Dreamweaver (BBEdit,Textmate or text editor
      of your choice) Fireworks, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Basic Flash.

    • At least 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, DOM scripting, and very
      capable of producing cross-browser, cross-platform, modular and reusable code.


    Ability to combine creativity with the ability to work with clear planning
    and to deadlines.



    • Must show initiative, be reliable, able to take responsibility, and manage
      your own time.


    Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.



    • Ability to work supportively with others and help others to achieve their
      best.
