Well lately I've been thinking about expanding my knowledge into flash media. Unfortunately, my knowledge of Flash dates back to Macromedia's daunting age of Flash 4 and I'm like a toddler learning all over again. However, most of the books that I have been looking at when walking through the bookstore don't actually teach you anything that is useful... just the basic nonsense over and over again. I want to learn the "cool" stuff where there is like a seamless flow between content.. like http://www.24-7media.de/. Does anybody know of any books or sites that can get me to that level?
I started working with Flash in version 5, and I used the Macromedia Training from the Source series of books to learn and I found them very useful because by the time you are done each book, you have a working website. Since then, I mostly rely on Colin Moock's ActionScript books from O'Reilly, and various blog posts and Google searching.
Do you have a more specific example of some of the "cool" stuff you'd like to learn?
