Does anyone know of a way to check a site against different platforms/browsers to see if it looks correct? I have a PC, so I'm only able to check IE (and even with that, I've installed IE7 so I don't know what happens in 5.5 or 6), FF, and Opera.
That what I use to check Safari http://www.browsrcamp.com/ The bummer part you can't check if there is any problem with functionality on a website. So if you have a number of clients on a MAC and they complain about it then you might want to consider get a MAC. P.C latest mac able to run both windows and OSX.
I use browser shots and its great - make your changes post it and go make a cup ot tea, maybe a biscuit, if its that time of day and refresh - should have a load of browser shots nice simple and quick - only thing i don't like is using for testing with sensitive clients - they would hate that thier new site was being shown to people before it was ready. I haven't tried any of the others but i'll have to give them a go!
also great because there is no signup or account creation - i'm sure they will start charging for it sooner or later so get it while its good!
