I need a gallery that is cable of displaying both images and video. I'll probably use flash for video embedding.

Right now, I'm using Plogger, and I'm not very happy with it. Contrary to its claims, it doesn't validate.

Not to be a C U N T, but if you go to http://www.plogger.org/demo/ , at the bottom, it says, "Plogger produces fully validated XHTML 1.1 code." You click on it, and you see errors. Though, I get a ton more errors.

For now, I decided to go with FileBrowser, made by the Vanilla developers.

Filebrowser is nice too. If they would just add descriptions to it...

You can do that. It's a pain to create thumbnails and to modify it. Everything is in index.php: php, html, javascript, css...eh.

I'm also a fan of SlideShowPro which can load images and other SWFs as well (and those other SWFs could very well contain videos). It uses FlashObject to embed the main Flash movie, so you know it validates ;-)

For creating the thumbnails, there are Adobe ImageReady CS Droplets available, as well as some server scripts to create them automagically for you.

Yeah, but it requires $20. And since, I'm not getting paid, I'm not going to spend the money out of my own pocket. I've known about it for some time. I might buy it for myself though.
