    Someone has asked me about availability of Flash player on restricted networks, which sometimes seem to ban installation of plugins like Flash. Local counciles, librarys, goverment offices etc....

    Does anyone have any on this, or ways around it? (I'm in the UK)

    I know that prevalence of Flash is well over 95%, but what about the remainder?

    For details: I've got no clue.

    But if you stick with FlashObject for replacing HTML content with flash as appropriate you can at least make sure there will be useful HTML content in place if there is no flash plugin available.

    People have been discussing it in this thread or you can read about it directly on Geoff Stearns' blog (aka Ten Safe Frogs).

    Yeah cool, I found FlashObject recently as well....

    The problem is the whole site is in Flash so hmmmmm
