			Personally I like nr.1 the best, too.
Nr1 is too much of a contrast between the content and the stripes on either side.
Nr3 is too busy with the diagonal stripes.

You've asked a subjective question of the site design. It's really not the right question to ask. The right questions are "Does this design enforce the company's brand? Is the site clear, thorough, and easily navigable? When a user visits this site for the first time, do we present them with an easy way to find what they are looking for? Does this design highlight the proper content?"<br /><br />Everyone has their own tastes, and perhaps even different types of people have their own collective tastes. "Like or dislike?" does nothing for you, as a designer, and I wouldn't waste my time looking for it.]]>
