That statement doesn't make much sense. To integrate your design, you will need theming capabilities, am I right? Or am I right?

Joomla! with the VirtueMart component is quite a nice solution.

In terms of options/features, I haven't seen anything to match Drupal. http://www.drupal.org
It covers a lot of payment options, file downloads, physical sales and product variations (t shirt sizes, colours etc. for example).

It's open source..so it's free, but at the same time, it does take a while to setup i.e. It's not a turnkey solution, it's designed to be flexible and adaptable to various themes/layouts and designs. For example, it allows you to either force customers to create an account and login first or just shop-and-go without logging in...so the control is very granular and flexible.

If you're looking for out-of-the-box ecommerce features that you can apply your own look n feel to, I would recommend Drupal, but, if you're looking for a quick, turn key solution that uses a different style/layout to the rest of your site, I wouldn't recommend it.

here's a direct link to the ecommerce add-ons (contributed modules):

There are more alternatives, but that ecommerce suite are the most extensive.

    hope that helps.

Cheap + easy to use + easy to customize
    = doesn't not exist
All solutions mentioned above will work but require some deeper understading
how they work and some time commitment.

    Cheers, DS

    Hi Guys,

I need some help in this as well. I was wondering, is Shopify (http://www.shopify.com) any good?

Shopify is a hosted shopping cart. You will have yourstore.myshopify.com. If you are ok with that, the system is all great. It features great usability and it is free to use to a point. You pay a percentage of each product you sell to Shopify. Check with their documentation for fees.
