    now I dont want to be seen as copying so I did not rip code from the site, I want to know how he did this

    the drop down menu that drops the whole page as well. Any special tricks? Or should I just read the code and figure it out my self anyways?

    Looked at moofx and it looks like that might be the trick but not really sure..

    moofx will do that no problem, just have a look at the moofx code on the official site and make sure that the effect is set to hide on load!

    jQuery will do it too (and I found it easier to figure out than moo.fx or script.aculo.us).
