I am having problems styling the div elements containing my navigation links on a site I am working on!!! Specifically, the right of my "Contact" and "Volunteer" link have a one or two pixel gap in safari. This gap is not apparent in IE or Firefox. Can anybody help me with this??? Any help would be much appreciated! The site is located at:

    Thank you!!!

Your problem is caused by the inline padding-right style associated with the button links. The problem is exaggerated if you reduce the size of the text, even in Firefox. Firstly, remove the padding-right style and then add a width to your button links, eg 290px.

wow, thank you so much, sawon!!! that did the trick!

i have one more question, why is it that the bottom of the "Volunteer" link is aligned differently in ie, firefox and safari. in ie, everything is flush. firefox is showing the link spilling over by one pixel and the opposite with safari.

    thanks a lot!
