We're looking for a designer to get involved with our innovative start up project. We're envisioning a social site that's diffrent from anything you've seen before. Not "facebook, but for ______", but something cool that you'll be proud of. All we need to take it to the next level is a top notch, web 2.0 savvy graphic designer. We're looking for someone who can answer the following questions:

    1) Who is Mike Arrington and why does everyone kiss his ass?

    2) Does the following text ring any bells?

"A demonstration of what can be accomplished visually through CSS-based design. Select any style sheet from the list to load it into this page."

    3) What web 2.0 sites are your favorites in terms of design and layout?

Please send us a portfolio and maybe a resume so we can see if you'll be a good fit. We'll respond with more info about us and hopefully we can move forward from there.

We have no investment money nor do we plan to take any. This would be a gig to be part of something that's actually innovative and to build a name for yourself. We do plan to turn a profit, but if making money now is your priority than you might want to look elsewhere. Freelancers only...no companies, no outsourcing.

Still interested? Send portfolio/resume to hooande at gmail dot com

Sounds like an excellent business plan. Only suckers actually work for money.

HA HA. I must say, for an "innovative start up" -- the job post sounds like the same ol' BS.

I'm kind of disappointed that no one on this site could say where that quote was from...

The quote is from CSS Zen Garden, right?
