I'm a Rails developer getting tired of doing the whole gamut. I'd love nothing more than to be giving XHTML/CSS implemenation work to a competent XHTML/CSS standards guru. I care how stuff looks but don't need sexy, I need usable beauty. We all do.
If you're Dan Cederholm I love you.
Currently I have 3 projects which I could use top down designs on. Two blog type sites and one Ride Sharing application. I have several other things in the pipeline, but those are the most appealing projects I could cleanly turn over. I take only work I like and don't do much dumb stuff, it should be interesting work.
I have low expectations of getting a response, but surprise me: Know what you're talking about when it comes to usability and standards, have a modest portfolio (even one really good site is fine) and quote me the rate you really want.
Any advice on how to find and nurture such help is also much appreciated...
Maybe someone wants to trade my Rails development time for design/implementation time. That'd be awesome.
