I’ve been at a loss trying to figure the erratic behavior of IE 6 (haven’t been able to verify IE 7 yet).

Basically, the links stop working and collapse, as if the <a> was getting stripped. Looks perfect on Firefox and Safari.

One problem you might have is that you need to apply height and width to your links so that the background you are applying will show up. Since you are applying it to the anchor tag. Background images love to have height and width. :D
