Hi everyone,
I just received a job description from a client. But since i dont have much experience I wanted to get some suggestion from you guys. The plan is to make a sort of youtube like community site. Ofcourse the scale of the site will be much smaller than youtube. It has to have basic functionalities like playing flash movie, letting registered user to post short movies in a period of time, becasuse it will be some sort of competition. To give a it a community feel we also want to let people to leave comments and rate the movies for statisctics
The question is . . does anyone know how feasible this kind of websites are? given the budget i think that i cannot get more than max 3 people to work on it. Are there any known opensource examples for youtube like community sites?

I think i can better say: youtube like functionalities . . instead of youtube like site . . because it just have the basic functionalities. Ofcourse . . the scripting tools used will be all open source probably ( html, css,mysql, php etc. )
