    I currently have a menu system setup that I am working and it is displaying properly in IE7 (IE 6 is still buggy) , Firefox 2.0, and Opera 9.25 except for Safari 3 for the way it is rendering BOLD....what would be the solution to fixing this issue. (Also...if someone is running a Mac, could you the Safari on it to see if its rendered the same way. Thanks so much.)

    Note: This does Validate XHTML Strict 1.0 but will not do so do to because of all the bullshit Angelfire throws on their free web space. The css also validates. Any help would be highly appreciated.

    yeah, looks bad:
    Safari Mac
    Firefox Mac

    adding slight negative letter-spacing seems to fix it,
    here I tried:
    letter-spacing: -0.05ex;
    And this is what it looks like: Fix in Firefox
