Anything Goes: Weird IE6 bug duplicating the last character in an above div

I'm having a strange problem in IE6. I have a div in my header. Below this div, the rest of the content is getting pushed down to accommodate a duplicating character from the header.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Maybe it's conditional comments do this,
there is a bug in IE6 arises when using comments after elements float.
