    Hi! Everyone
I am Krishnam from India. I have been through most of the discussions regarding CMS. I must appreciate you all guys who are really helping each other and all the new joiners too.

I came to know about many new things which i never heard of. There is so much of rich information on the discussion boards.

I am here for your help.
I am designing a website for my church. I am using Dreamweaver for designing. But i want to integrate my design with a CMS system so that any one of my church member (computer literate) can update the contents in my absence. Please suggest me a simple CMS with which i can integrate the site.

Please have a look at the site design at http://www.scoutsnguides.com/personal/cccv/index.html

Will be eagerly waiting for your suggestions.

    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Cheers!
    Krishnam

My personal favorite is Wordpress. Can be easily integrated into a website as a CMS (though it's main purpose was for blogging). Textpattern is also another good choice for a simple CMS.

I second Josh's comment. Wordpress is as simple as them come. There are others with lots of bells and whistles, but you might find the people who will be managing it to easily get lost.

Their newest version is very slick and the UX is much improved.

Krishnam - in order for people here to give you some more informed CMS options (rather than just opinions e.g. I like *insert CMS here* it's cool), you need to give us more information about the project.

Here are some questions that may give us some more insight into features that you are looking for from a CMS:

    1. How many users will be logging into the system?

    2. Do you need to set up publishing/approval workflows?

    3. Do you need to establish multiple levels of permissions for various users?

    4. Do you want to be able to allow users to create their own member accounts (a community website)?

    5. Would you like a CMS that can also send email to members and users who have opted into a mailing list?

I could go on and on, but I think you get the point. WordPress has certainly come a long way, and it can be configured to be used as a simple CMS, but (depending on your budget) there are a lot of other options out there.
