As the title states... I'm turning to my fellow design community for help.. please help this problem get noticed.

Oh, and yes I did email them.. You know what happened? I got No Response and they took their ads off my site.. ha

Aren't you supposed to contact their service provider, if they fail to acknowledge this? Or perhaps you could send them a note that you will be contacting their provider as well as their sponsors, if they refuse to take the "redesign" offline or pay for the template?
Perhaps it's an honest mistake? Your copyrights do say 2006-2007, for instance. I'm not saying it's cool to rip you off in any case, but why not make sure that this isn't due to some interpretational issues. -

I actually don't know what i'm supposed to do... Never been up against a big company...
I did try contacting them, They ignored me, then they stopped advertising on my site as soon as i did.. haha
The best thing i know to do right now, is get support and blog post from the design community. If enough fuss is made, other bigger competitors my right an article on it to help get them to change their design.. -

No way around it, a lot of their basic homepage elements are heavily influenced by your site. Unfortunately there isn't much action to take other than what you've already done. I can't comment on the legalities, but it does seem to violate a lot of common-sense unwritten rules. It's an especially ballsy move by their web designer, considering your own site has already gotten a fair amount of recognition in the design galleries.
I say keep shining a light on the issue and try to get an honest response from them. It sucks to see an individual's work get overshadowed by a big company, whose design team should know better. From the sound of it, they're assumed the "we're a big company, we'll do what we want" approach. -

Yeah, just shine light on it so everyone knows. Get enough people to use their contact form and bash them for it. Try and find out who the designer was.

I posted to Reddit. Any redditors can go vote for it to get some more attention on the situation.
The more attention the story gets, the more likely the offending party will have to answer for it. -

I need everyone's help here.. thanks for the comments, I'm a one man band, and the only way to help me is getting the word out.. I just can't do it on my own.. And def don't have the money it takes to take on a big company like that... So with enough people behind me, maybe some other big competitor will do a news story on what thegolfchannel has done and force them to change their design.. that's what i want! :)
Help blog about this on your own sites if possible.. maybe it'll help out, I hope.
I'll tell ya this, my heart stopped when i saw their "new site design" it was obvious someone had looked at mine and used it to form theirs.. -

I voted it up on Reddit! While of course you may be angry, it is also a complement that a milion/billion dollar company admires your work!!! They should have just hired you in the first place....

Seems like the 9 Rule Design community also agrees .. Now if I could get "The golf channel" to notice this.. then something might be done about it.. But that it really hard, need backing from a big source or something..
