    Hi, I designed this mockup (http://www.coastalpet.com/Lazer2.jpg) for our homepage and wasn't what the best way of building it would be. I was thinking that the whole thing would be an image except for the video, Now Available text, and Products below that. The image would be the background of a div and then I would position everything that wasn't an image in that div. That just sounds like a hack job to me though. I thought that there must be better ways of doing this sort of thing nowadays.

    Any Suggestions?

    There's basically two backgrounds inside divs, perhaps one absolutely positioned fireman and the rest are just lists and headings and the video.

    Think about the mockup in layers and try to replicate that with html.
