I don't know where to put this, so if it's not on the right category... I apologize.
Anyway let's get to point,
I have a simple HTML file made with Dreamweaver or any text-editor. I want it to send as email. So my recipients will get it as HTML. Not as attachment of an HTML or email with picture got split from the text content.
I use Outlook 2007 (not Outlook Express). My problem is, I cannot find a way to import/place/paste my already done HTML inside Outlook and send it from there. If I copy-paste it... it's shows the codes; if I attach... people received it as attachment (not what I wanted).
So it's like those email newsletter subscriptions you get from website such victoria secret, lovemarks, etc. A full page HTML.
The HTML is table based because I notice CSS layout is not work well in email client. All the images is absolute link.
You can't do it with Outlook. Thunderbird will do it with the EditHTML add-on, or you can use a newsletter mailer like GroupMail or one of the online services like ConstantContact or iContact.
When you click on insert file, if you select the html file you want, then click on the small arrow beside the insert button, it gives you the option to "insert as text". This will put the html page in the email message.
Go to Tools > Options and click on the Mail Format tab. You'll then be able to set up your HTML file as Stationery (click Stationery Picker > New > and check Use this file as a template) or as a Signature. I think doing it as a Signature will preserve inline styles better than as Stationery.
