CSS & HTML: Effective Shadow Borders

    I'm about to try design some glowing borders and want to know if there are already some very effective ways to do that in css. I'm familiar with this shadow effect from six apart but am going for something different in that a shadow ,or glow, surrounds a box that may be of any size.

    Any code one can point me to or should i just give it a shot?
