My site
I am having a problem with my site. I want to add a content section where the big blue Lorem Ipsum is. I want to be able to post news and all that or updates and allow people to comment on them. What is the easiest way to do that and still keep my layout looking the way it is. -
I am not sure about how to do that whole thing, but I can say, as for the layout of your site, you need to left align that text pronto. Your main body text needs to be reconsidered.

You'll need to tear into your wordpress templates to make this part of your site look like your main page, then point/move your wordpress stuff over to the root directory. Either that, or put a new wp install in your root directory if you want to keep the two separate.
I'd tell you more about which wp template file does what, but I just moved over to wp from movabletype this weekend and haven't started in on the design part yet. That'll probably be this weekend. Until then, I suggest a lot of tinkering and backing up. You might check out a few different wordpress theme sites to see how wildly different themes modify the same basic wordpress files so you can see how you need to modify them to make your design work. -

Use a list <ul> <li> for your menu, and add your images to the <A> tags, it is much better this way..
