I have a reseller account through Heart Internet, Linux/PHP5/MySQL and found their service second to none. One of my clients uses Hostway and sings their praises.

If you wanted dedicated hosting Rackspace are very good.

I use heartinternet, they're good and have just launched .net hosting as part of their reseller account too.

I use Fasthosts and they've been pretty good.

I've not had much call for getting in touch with their support team, but when I have, they've been very good at helping out.

There was an infiltration scare a while ago and all of their users had to change all of their passwords just in case, and it was a pain because we have loads of clients on our server. At least Fasthosts were open and honest about it and making us take this precaution means that we haven't had a problem.

Their uptime is also excellent, in the two or three years I've used them, they've only ever inexplicably gone down once. I used to work for a company that did hosting, so I know that when something goes down, they'd have been inundated with panicked calls disturbing them from their work and the answer would have been "We're aware of the problem and are working on it". So I decided to be nice and give them until after I'd had my lunch before I phoned and complained, and it turned out I never needed to complain after all.

Fasthosts, having used them for over 5 years, are a nightmare. We had 2 reseller accounts and sometimes even the stylesheet on the Fasthosts site didn't work!
You are just a number to them and there is no real personal service.
