JavaScript / DOM / AJAX: Anyone know how this was developed -> Spacecollective.org ?

    More specifically, is there open source code out there for this expandable div setup? I'm not too sure how to narrow down my question. I'm only now getting deeper into javascript and DOM as well as seeing jquery on my horizon. So far it's pretty straight forward but I'm still catching up.

    Any advice or suggestions on how this Spacecollective.org works? Thanks for your help.

    Where are the expandable divs?

    Looks like they use prototype and scriptaculous.

    I guess I meant something like this: http://spacecollective.org/projects/The-Total-Library

    If you click on an item, it reveals another div with all the content and pushes everything else to an appropriate place. I have some idea of how it is structured but I'm curious about other opinions.

    Looks similar, except on a larger grid. You can have fun messing about with their demo:

    In any case, it does seem like the spacecollective are using this, from the same site:

    (Based on filename, I haven't looked at the code)
