I'm an artist, graphic designer, and marketing consultant. While I can design beautiful and brand-centric web graphics, I simply can't wrap my head around coding. My creative, right-sided brain won't allow it. I normally create web graphics and page elements for my clients, then turn them over to a programmer to make everything "work".

A friend of mine has recently decided to start a new business and I've been working with him to develop his identity, print collateral, advertising, etc. He asked me to build his corresponding website and I told him that I would see what I could do. He lost his first business (real estate-oriented) to the recession and has a very limited start-up budget, but agreed to pay me $600.00 for my efforts.

I'm going to develop his site in Photoshop, as layered native files. At this point, I'm anticipating there being somewhere between 10 to 14 total pages, but that's subject to change. The homepage will be the template for all the other pages. The design will be clean, sophisticated, well-branded, and developed to speak to his affluent target audience. There won't be Flash, or other distracting elements.

I have Dreamweaver CS3 on my end, but I really don't know how to use it. I have, however, been able to build upon a programmer's code foundation to make sub-pages.

Here's what I'm seeking: Someone who would be open to splitting $600.00 with me, in exchange for coding my layered Photoshop files, for no more than 15 initial pages. This person will also have "CSS by ..." status, with a text link to their site (exact verbiage is open). You'll be able to showcase the site in your portfolio and use it for self-promotion.

I don't know anything about CSS, but I've come to the conclusion that that's what I want for this site. I want to work with someone that knows the in's and out's of web programming, the trends, the user experience, etc. If you don't want to be a part of this, but can point me in the right direction, I'm all ears! Let me know what's up at chrisdialfredi@yahoo.com.

    Hey,

When is the project due? I'm interested in helping out. Here are a few sites that I have sliced.

    Let me know.
