I'm just polishing up a new site at http://tinyurl.com/efjwg but am starting to wonder if it's too text heavy. What do you think... could it do with some graphics?

I think a map on the contact page might be a good starting point...

PS. I'm also having problems getting the hover tabs to work in all flavours of IE.

In Firefox etc everything goes red on rollover (ie the 3 tabs in the middle of the homepage).

personally I love the simplicity of it all. Paragraphing and smart line-height made it clean and easy on the eye. My suggestion would be to stick to your current structure and not to add more graphics (except for the contact page where either a map or a form could fill up the gap.)

The gradient on the left menu seems ok, but that "contact" button is close to invisible on my screen.

    Thanks for the feedback!

I'm working on the side gradient, going to darken the grey text so it's more visible...

looks good, pretty text intensive but i think it works. Def sort the fade as it is very hard to read contact.
Also not sure if it is just me but I didn't realise that the nav was on the left right away. I think because on the home pages those big tabs with rollover fooled me into thinking they where the nav

The Contact button is very difficult to read.

I don't like how the button in the middle have the bottom right corner cut off. It would look better as a whole block.

Good job though. Not too much text, just enough. The bottom half text could be SLIGHTLY larger.

    Good jobs!
Not too much text for me, but i don't like navigation, it's not enough visible IMO, not only for the gradient effect but for the same thomas_p's reasons.

Know what you mean about this - but if you take off this corner, the box isn't split into 3 anymore, and just turns into a big grey box... hmm

Put a 1px solid black border between them.

One good graphic on most of the pages would be ideal, I believe. I especially wanted to see a picture of each of the directors. I don't feel there's too much text, so much as my eye is looking for something graphic - perhaps a logo

    That’s my 2¢. :^{>.
