One of my clients, a professional services company based in the Richardson area of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with hands-on, proven experience designing and developing B2C, customer-facing website GUIs using JavaServerFaces (JSF).

In this role, the Software Engineer will partner with my client’s Sales and Marketing group to develop JSF based GUIs in support of a custom-built ERP solution. The Sales and Marketing group will provide prototypes of website GUIs which the Software Engineer will then develop using JSFs. Experience with other Java-based technologies is also required - as is knowledge of, but not necessarily hands-on experience with - the JBoss Seam Framework.

This is a 4-6+ month contract position which may well extend. Note that H1B candidates may be considered but excellent communication skills are a must.Qualified candidates for this position will possess the following skills and experience:

* Experienced in the engineering of dynamic, rich, Web-based, B2C, customer facing applications using JavaServerFaces (JSF), HTML, XHTML, CSS & JavaScript

* A solid understanding of JavaScript / AJAX, including experience jQuery

* Knowledge – and an understanding of - the JBoss Seam Framework

* Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PHP, ASP or JSP

* Experienced in the creation of advanced user interface elements

* Cross-browser testing and implementation

* A strong knowledge of current web trends and resources

* A good understanding of usability and accessibility, including coding to Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) standards
