    hi,.

    problem is i am coding a website with those smooth angles, which requires much images and intricate tables etc.. it looks fine in IE and FF, but it looks horrible in opera.. any ideas

    Yes, Opera has a problem. It isn't your malformed, inline and class stuffed ,tabled layout.

    Seriously, you cut down browser bugs my 80% (lol i made that up) if you have correct and semantic HTML and CSS.

    the inline styling is fine... opera simply required a fized width for that <td>
