    I still suck at code but I sure love CSS, even dirty CSS. I will improve the semantics of the new layout as I learn more and understand it better.

    I started getting gallery items up and the site is pretty much done once those are all added. I will be integrating a full gallery system eventually but this will definitely do for now.

    I think you did a great job, I like the color scheme.

    I do see you have some empty divs which might not be necessary...

    I would also keep the background fixed. but that's just personal preference.

    It is a cool design. I dont like the background -- but I do get very picky with backgrounds, can never seem to get it right myself. I agree with the abundance of empy DIVs, but again, guilty of the same -- you have a lot going on, i see why you use them. I wish you had an a:hover on your primary content links; a lot of the other elements are hard to tell what is clickable and what is not (your H3 and class="welcome"). Impressive design though.

    I agree with the abubundance of empty DIV's but they all serve a purpose at the moment. I still need to go in and clean up the code. I also still want to rework some of the link styles to ensure they are all very easily seen(mringlein h3 hover needs to be fixed, thanks for the input.). As far as the background I like it and it seems to work for my purposes but it has has mixed reviews. Droppyale I had it fixed and changed it as it is my personal preference usually but it looked better the way it is now.

    Good job! I'm a bit in doubt with the background, but that’s probably personal preference. I think the main navigation and the links on the right side could stick out a bit more...

    That's a nice compact way to show your portfolio samples. Might be cool to incorporate something like this as the portfolio starts to fill up.
