(And there's this year-old color forecast by Adam Poselli that I still think is really cool.)

What do you think will be big in web design in 2006? There's a trend towards larger, more readable font sizes and forms. People are noticing that you can say less with more impact if you font size is larger than 10px. I think we'll see more people ditching smaller sizes.

The biggest thing I'm hoping for is a move away from the austere white layouts that all of the new 'web-apps' seem to use. It's functional and looks minimal (kind of like the old old web) but it's getting to be a bit much. And enough with the pastels, it feels like a seven-year old girl vomitted happiness everywhere.
