A quick question - I'm using an sIFR plugin for Wordpress (http://www.chait.net/index.php?p=310)... is there any way to serve a v8 swf to users with Flash Player 8 support, and an older one to those with previous versions of Flash Player?

That way most users would benefit from the nice&crispy text rendering in v8 :-D

I'm guessing you would need to use some kind of (javascript?) version detect routine to achieve this, and save the info to somehwhere, maybe a cookie, but I'm not really a programmer so no idea where to start.

It sounds like this might be built into v3 of sIFR but I think it will be a while before it's out.
