I was trying to figure out how to put images side by side, 4 across with a 1px dotted grey line in between images to separate them.

any tips.

Since you run a professional graphic design company, you should really have someone proofread your site before you go public. Starting on the front page: the plural of logo is logos, not logo's.

You have a lot of other mistakes throughout that really detract from the design of the site and intent of your business.

(Not to be a prig...)
