    I would like to know whether there is a safe way of embedding any font this includes not web standard fonts on your website by use of css.

    You can call whatever font you want into CSS and if the user has it on their machine, they will display it. You might want to be careful about distributing fonts as there is likely licence issues with whatever font you have that isn't free...

    sIFR is a nice way to give users fonts without breaking any rules but some fonts just look ugly in it...
