Currently I’m a full time Web Developer and I really enjoy what I do. Sometimes people ask you. What is yours favorite project you ever done? Well I can’t really answer on it because I don’t really have one. For me real motivation is process of creation and I enjoy every second of it. After it finalize and finished I move on to the next and forgot about previous no matter how good it was. But it’s just me. What motivates you?
Generating a clear picture of how a site should look with my partner and seeing it take life in reality. After doing it for over 10 years, it's still sort of magical to step back and watch the process, knowing we can turn ideas into a complete creation.
The show/hide contact form on adjustafresh's site is motivating me right now to check out the source code -- nice work.
Honestly what used to motivate me was getting to the stage in Photoshop where the front-end looked finished and clean and the mockup was approved, which was mainly an appreciation for the "decoration". What motivates me much more these days is taking sophisticated bits of scripting (rarely mine :P), absorbing them into a clean UI, and styling them with css & graphics so that the output is straightfoward and user-friendly as possible.
I don't know if that last paragraph could sound any dorkier.
