I have bought different domain name i.e domain.co.uk, domain.fr, domain.net, domain.org and domain.info Now there is only content on domain.net
So what I have done I redirect as follow: domain.fr --> domain.net/fr/ domain.co.uk --> domain.net/en/ and the other ones domain.org and domain.info redirect to domain.net
So far I have only submitted domain.net to search engine as I believe it is pointless to submit the other ones. Am I right?
Yes, there's not much value in submitting URLs that just redirect to other pages.
I'm assuming your website directories are just for a French language version and an English version language of the site. Although I don't know for sure, I would guess that if someone searched for a French term that google would favor the ".fr" domain name over the ".net" domain name with the "fr" directory. I rarely search in a language other than English, so I could be wrong, but it's probably something you should at least do some quick researching on.
Perhaps I should actullay submit domain.fr and domain.co.uk so Google will see the link (in this case I mean the relation not the actual link) between these domains and the domain.net ?
After submission, Google should acknowledge that the domain.fr is in fact domain.net/fr/ because of the redirection. Therefore if someone search in French like you said Google should show domain.net/fr/ Same for .co.uk
Hmm that may work, or may not. I'd say try posting content to the homepage of the .fr and .co.uk domains, and then once those pages are in Google's index, setup the 301 redirects on the .fr and .co.uk domans to their .net pages and see what happens. Could make for an interesting experiment.
