How fluid should we design? I have been reading Dan C's book Bulletproof Design, and have decided that my new design needs to be "bulletproof", however, do I set the width of my container to 100% or should I set it to max and min widths.

I was also going through the book and either my brain is in meltdown or its been so long since I did basic maths, but how is 40% of 70% equal 28%?

1 - Well I'm creating a three column equal width layout, so it would have to be a huge screen to make it unreadable, also if say the width of the browser is more than 1200px, the design would drop off on the right hand side.

2 - Like I said Maths is a long time coming for me, left school in 92 :)
