    I have been thinking about redesigning my site because it seems to be giving the impression that I am a company with several employees and it is pretty outdated IMO. I've put something new together that I think is more "personal" and makes it clear that it is just me, freelancing on my own and was wondering if you think it could do with some improvements or if it is a step in the wrong direction completely?

    All feedback (negative/positive) would be appreciated.

    Current Design
    New Design

    I wonder if the new design would reduce/increase the amount of work I am offered... *shrugs* I guess you never know until you try!

    I think the new design is far better than the current design becuase the colours are better and is more contemporary.

    But the current design is more corporate looking and would appeal to business's more than the new design.

    I love the new design. It's very open / clean.

    I don't think it looks corporate at all, maybe it's just because I'm used to looking at blog designs, but I think the site is very personal.

    Maybe you could add a personal photo? or a stock photo that shows someone working on a computer. idk.....

    Yeah I was thinking of adding a personal photo but couldn't find one of me sober! Haha! Well, there is one that I'm sober in, but I'm pulling a stupid face... Does that matter? lol.

    I'm glad the feedback is pretty positive so far... :o)

    Contemporary/Personal is definitely what I'm going for. My aim is to wow web design/development companies, since most of my current work is outsourced to me from them and this is the type of work I would prefer to receive more of.

    Yeah, I thought a few might have something to say about the brown... It's definitely a big change from my previous white design. Glad you do like it even so though.

    It's sounding pretty positive from the designers point of view... hopefully it won't scare clients away.
