After following an article on "A List apart" I decided to make a css/java menu following the steps provided. Now I have the menu working just fine, but I am having trouble targetting the items so that the entire site's Lists are not influenced by the menu's css syling. I a not sure what I am doing wrong. I have applied a style to the list but it is still being influenced by the nav's styling.
Here is the code for the menu:

Here I have target each item in the menu with #nav, still it is not working. It's driving me insane. -

No worries, I got it sorted. Used a different Javascript.
